The Club

Based in Xi'an, one of China's great historic cities and the capital of Shaanxi province, Shaanxi Union FC represents a region with a famously passionate football public — Shaanxi crowds are among the loudest and most loyal in the country.

The club's project is built around youth: identifying and developing the best local talent and giving it a professional pathway. Bridge Football Group's Director of Youth Development, Edwin Petersen, serves as Technical Director, bringing Dutch academy methodology to Chinese football.

For the group, Shaanxi Union is the bridge to Asia — a young, ambitious club in one of the fastest-growing football markets in the world.
